| thursday morning group ride | |
This session is for experienced
cyclists who would like to ride with a group, mid-week, throughout the winter.
The ride leaves Windle island at 9.30am, view the
multimap location of Windle Island. The session will last approximately 2
hours, with 60-80 minutes conducted at a fast pace. The ride will follow a
'chain gang' format, which is especially beneficial for those wishing to improve
group riding skills. The section of the ride conducted at a 'faster pace' will
take place on a circuit. This enables riders to recover or take 'time out', by
riding in the opposite direction until they re-join the group. The session will
start on Thursday October 5th 2006 and continue until April 2007. |
